Errigal acted as Principal Contractor, delivering fire safety remediation works on occupied residential and commercial buildings. This included replacing non-compliant cladding systems, insulation, balconies, and soffits with compliant alternatives.

Delivery Approach:

Using a phased delivery model, Errigal ensured minimal disruption to residents by:
Implementing quiet hours
Using dust suppression and daily cleaning

Maintaining safe, clear access at all times

Designing scaffold solutions that allowed commercial premises to remain open

Resident Engagement:

A robust Resident Liaison Strategy was implemented. RLOs Aiden Hardiment and Ama Chin were dedicated to resident communication, holding “Ask the Contractor” events and conducting pre-construction surveys. Communication was tailored based on demographics and included regular newsletters, SMS updates, and online portals.

Social Value:

To preserve residents’ plants during balcony clearance, Errigal partnered with Lighthouse Community and Gardens to create a communal garden. Donated timber was repurposed into benches, enhancing community benefit.

Monitoring & Safety:

A bi-weekly audit programme ensured H&S compliance. A “Good Catch” policy encouraged proactive reporting of risks, fostering continuous improvement.
